I don't care if you like us, hate us, envy us or know that we even exist. As long as you keep purchasing our products allowing us to maintain (well I guess regain at this point) a trade surplus I couldn't care less. It's not like you listen to us anyway.

Obama just isn't going to be all that cuddly to Canada and I would not bet on too much cooperation from him on pretty much anything.

All I got to say is, who cares? The fact that Americans don't care about Canada has never been a no brainer. Being a long-time gamer I have encountered many Americans. Some of which I made my friends, other just ignored me but there has been so many I have encountered that would insult me for being Canadian. Make racist jokes, etc. Pure arrogance from that group.

In my personal opinion, if Obama want's to look after number 1 which will not help him. Than maybe Canada should take his advice and look after their number 1 and trade off there oil and our resources with the EU. I hear they really would like some oil trading partners.

Britain, Germany, France, etc could be our next best trading partners and where would America be in all this? When they realize that with there Buy American attitude that they made there current trading partners look after there best interests and looked else where for trade. They will realize that there whole buy american doesn't meet there best interests.

Maybe than Canada can renogiate NAFTA and cut better trade deals.

Bacardi, I agree. It isn't a one-way street. If the USA is not respectful of Canada then Canada needs to look out for her own interests first. You'll hear no complaint from me on that point.

Canada should have been smarter in the first place, instead of taking the easy route. It is never a good businessdecision to have all your business with 1 client. When that client goes bankrupt, or just bails out, you go down with them...
