Wow. Hold the presses with this one!

"Mr. Ignatieff was the only one of the three to score a net positive rating. Forty-three per cent of respondents said they had a favourable impression of him versus 32 per cent who had an unfavourable opinion."

"Mr. Harper was viewed favourably by 43 per cent and unfavourably by 49 per cent, relatively unchanged since last October's election."

.. but somehow this is the cause for "Iggy-mania"? I don't think so.

.. but I guess that's what you get when you're leaders are appointed by Bay Street kingmakers.

there is no iggy mania , he has yet to even do anything as leader and during the recent budget debate he and his party did not suggest a single idea or specific piece of policy they wanted to see in the budget to help the economy . instead they came up with this silly idea of reports and claim there puting the government on probation .

iggy has also been quoted saying things like he does not support middle class tax cuts and would consider raising taxes like the gst to try and eliminated a defict . i myself have not been very impressed with what he has had to say so far .

It's not Iggy-mania anymore than you're love-in for all things Harper was Harper-mania. All it says is that Iggy is "the only one of the three to score a net positive rating."

It doesn't matter anyways, polls are BS. Elections speak far truer than polls ever do.

It's OK, I don't think he was relying on your vote anyways.

O, ya, skeletons galore. Skeletons like senselessly provoking the biggest constitutional crisis since King Byng, like shutting down parliament to avoid having to face the music for it, like plunging us into a $40B/year deficit after campaigning on balanced budgets. Skeletons like those?

well in the last election a whole bunch of liberals did not even bother to vote as voter turnout plunged that might be something the liberals want to look into before they start counting there eggs before they hatched because of this poll .

The only party that actually won more votes in '08 than in '06 was the Green party. The Conservatives, Liberals, Bloc and NDP all shed voters. The Liberals shed the most. So there you're right. Great, you can tell if one number is smaller than another.

But unless those voters actually went and voted for a different party, that just means that all the Liberals have to do is convince them to come out again, not to switch back.

Well, if Ignatieff makes the best impression then the old adage still holds true that "BS baffles brains." or to put it differently image is more important than substance. Of course the fact that he does not seem that much different than Harper means that "impression" is perhaps really the only difference.

RUEZ RUEZ:
He hasn't even done anything yet has he?

That statement applies equally well to all THREE leaders.

He killed the coalition and he made rational, reasonable conditions for passage of the budget.
