$1:
Newfoundland Premier Danny Williams, who has often been at odds with the prime minister, said he expects partisanship to be set aside as all the leaders work together to save the economy.

Danny better hope, considering how he acted during the election.

Premier Danny Williams, you know the guy who pushed ABC so he could get the Conservatives out of NL. As soon as the election was over he switched gears and tried to tell Harper it was all jokes and not to take it personally.

Harper better not be looking to Alberta to foot the bill.

All of Canada should hope oil goes back to 60 bucks a bbl fast are we will have an even bigger deficit next year. The piggy bank is empty folks that means none for you as well.

He wants co-operation now? I guess we'll see who the better man is.

No thanks. If Alberta can't survive on oil being 30-40, then they had better look at other industries.

this ain't the 90's oil should be 60 bucks a bbl. Costs have gone up you know.

Canada better find another source of revenue if you want 30 buck oil.

sell that gas guzzler and quit complaining about gas at 1999 prices. :P

I drive a 4 cylinder small car. I say let oil go where it's going to go, but not because of OPEC meddling. If it stays at 35 then that's where it should be. If it goes to 60 then so be it.

OPEC doesn't set the price. OPEC can cut its production all it wants that's not price fixing.

That's exactly why they set their quota's. They don't even hide the fact. Just because high oil prices are good for you doesn't mean i'm going to jump up and down and be happy for you.

hum, if some of the liberals on this site are correct this article must be a mistake.

According to them, they are not listening to anyone and are not cooperating in the least.

There has been a heck of a lot of talk and a mountain of wishes, but I wonder what and how much will really end up in the budget. Moreover apparently the provinces are still waiting for money that was promised in Government programs a long time ago, according to some of the premiers.

I think mtbr was being sarcastic, heh.

Yeah, Danny better hope Harper doesn't just write them off, because he really stepped on a few toes.
