Growing up in the Okanagan, my friends and I used to day hike into the hills above Summerland, and if we were damned lucky, we'd catch a glimpse of the wild horses that lived up there.

Another reason why I think our government sucks, and I should hope some of the native leaders give those members who are happy to take blood money the gears for what they are doing.

There is a herd of wild horses just west of Calgary in the Elbow Valley. I've come across them frequently.
