I guess they never included the number of munincipal officers there are in BC. Easy enough to put this out there, but what is the percentage? Not a big deal, shit happens EVERYWHERE, is it acceptable? NO but this happens, as far as being drunk off duty and saying something, WHO GIVES A FUCK, many many people in all sorts of occupations are guilty of that shit.

That is not a bad percentage out of how many officers are in BC. There are 11 police boards in the province of BC...totally something like 2000+ members and then throw in how many RCMP there are...I think we have a damn good representation of officers doing their job and doing it well.
There are some, the RC that killed Orion in Delta, that are a disgrace to the badge. That is a small representation.

Oh, well if its only 2 percent of the people who are supposed to be protecting us instead of killing us then thats okay. guess if 2 out of those 106 were murders that would be okay too right?. Why not, same logic. The reason i have a problem with them is they have specificaly swore to protect and serve there community, then they go out and kill someone in it by say drunk driving. Wow thats being such a good role model for our kids. "Hey johnny go ahead and drink and drive, the police do" You dont see doctors going around killing the people there trying to help when there not at work, or spreading virus, and if you did what would we say about them?. There bad horrible people and shouldnt be allowed to be doctors. Why is the logic different when applied to police?

lily lily: How many of our municipalities have their own Police force? Here in the lower Mainland there's Vancouver, Delta, New West... any others? What about the Island or that area past Hope? there is 11 police boards in BC There is Nelson, Vancouver, Delta, New West, Victoria, Central Saanich, Saanich, Oak Bay, West Van, Port Moody and Abbotsford
