That's a significant find and one that's going to set back the IED threat for quite a while. Their going to have to buy and carry it all in from Iran or Pakistan all over again.

I lost a couple of associates a couple of years ago due to improperly stored UXO. We wanted to destroy it in smaller batches, but the Taiwanese wanted to salvage the steel for their souvenier knives.

I was Kinmen, and they have absolutely no idea where any of the shit is buried. We were supposed to be clearing a few beaches and some areas for expanding an old reservoir and other infrastructure jobs. The UXO there's from 1949 until about 80. It includes various types of mines and artillery rounds(which is really what they want because of the high grade steel) they (Taiwanese and Chinese) lobbed at each other
