If anything, she should've said "Vote Liberal" to try and stop Stephen Harper, because the Bloc have even LESS of a chance to stop Stephen Harper than the Liberals or NDP do.

She very clearly said that it was to block Harper, not because she wants Quebec to separate. In the context of the current political situation in Quebec, that's perfectly valid. Besides, how many soft separatists hove come and gone from the Conservative ranks over the years? Atwood hardly has the market cornered on appealing to that demographic for votes or political influence.
