Yeah, but we got 1 cent off the GST, so it's really only 2.5%... :lol:

Yeah, but we got 1 cent off the GST, so it's really only 2.5%... :lol:


Except that a reduction in a consumption tax increases consumption which drives inflation. Only now the government has less money and business has more.

like harper has had much to do with inflation...

Harper says, if you want to pay higher food costs vote Dion, I say if I want to pay higher food costs, save the election costs and keep Harper. He's doing a great job of watching the prices rise.

So would you rather he hike the interest rates to keep inflation under control? Did you ever think the reason he's not for that is because it would hit Ontario particularly hard at this moment in time?

The annual increase in August was largely driven by higher prices for gasoline


Harper can no more control the price of gasoline then you can control your partisan comments.
