My own personal best memories are the World Series games played
there between my beloved Brooklyn Dodgers and those hated Yanks,
in '52, '53, '55, and '56....

I'm a bit sad about this. I've known a former Yank (family friend) long before he became a MLB player and enjoyed watching the games he played in there. So many memories from childhood. Then I'm a bit glad that they are moving to a new site. Better for fans and hopefully better for baseball all around.

All I know is that the memories will remain with me and I hope some young kids get a big thrill out of the new stadium as so many kids got out of the old one.
