Elections Canada doesn't even address the fact that one person is promising their vote in return for someone else giving them their vote. If that's not selling your vote I don't know what is.

Fine. Maybe 10-or-so are there to whine and start shit. The idea is that the group is growing by hundreds a day, and hundreds are part of this idea.

3000 vote sellers isn't going to make much of a difference in the election. It's too bad they have decided to give up their ideals just to keep their local riding from electing the representative they want.

I don't think this will work out in the long run for smaller parties, but I can see the reasoning behind it, as I (and I think most people) believe in the adage "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

I doubt it will work also. They are bragging about having 3000 or more members, but across Canada that doesn't amount to much. You might get a couple hundred vote sellers in a riding and they may affect one or two but in the long run it's a pipe dream for them.

Vote-swapping initiatives on Facebook....definitely not as serious as

What value? It's one vote for one vote. Both parties get what they want, versus if they did not trade their votes, both parties would see the same pointless result that happens in every election.
