And it won't drop down here in New Brunswick until at least Thursday. Ah, regulated gas. They have a clause that lets them jack the price, but not one to send relief our way, love it.

Gas doesn't cost enough to smarten people up...not yet.
Here, in the small town where I live, there are six
guys who commute eight miles each way to a manufacturing plant
[where I worked before I retired ]. These guys live no more than
6-8 blocks from each other, and work the same shift.
They each take their own vehicle to work [mostly pickup trucks].
Why ? "Just in case" they each "need" to go somewhere else
after work...so it's obvious gas isn't expensive enough to
register on their pea brains ... by pooling, even 3 to
a vehicle, they could save $20-25 a week. :?

We are on the far side of Canada. When the price shot up in TO, because of Ike, I went out and managed to top up my tank at 134.9, the next day it was 151.4 Today it's dropped to 142.9, tomorrow it will probably drop even more.

I have a Mac's convenience store with ESSO pumps near my house that never seems to react fast to gas prices.

For several days, the prices had risen to 1.46, yet they were still charging 1.33.

Now that the prices are closer to 1.26, they are still up in the 1.33 range.

I'm not sure if I shoud take all my business to them, or just when it's to my advantage.

It's down to 139.9 today and it was 147.9 on the weekend.

[cheer] for driving on fumes.

Well I guess that's good, but considering how much crude costs today I don't think I'll cheer yet.

Still 139.9 here in New Brunswick, like I said there will be no change till Thursday and that is lame.

*Update*

It has finally dropped along with the rest of the country and we find ourselves at 125.6.
