I guess she never heard of buying a new dog from the local pet store? 115 grand compared to 100-200 dollars. Either this lady is nuts, or her latest dog was just one hell of a pet.

You can find a better (and cheaper) pet at any SPCA.

If I was rich, like 15 million in the bank... i'd pay for this service.

It's obviously cateriging to a specific financially well of clientele...

However, that said. I think there are many animals at the local SPCA that are looking for a new home, and that would most likely be my first choice.

Why? It's not the same dog - it's not going to recognize your face, it's not going to remember the same tricks, it's not going to have the same personality.

You'd be paying a ridiculous amount of money for a dog that will look like another dog. It's retarded.

Some people really like there pets, it's more of a emotional reason. If you want your pet again, you would want one that looks the exact same as your old one. So its like he or she never died. Of course its not going to know the same tricks, or have the same personality. It is far over-priced just to have a pet that looks like the one that dies but its the beggining of the sales. She was there first customer. Every new invention always sells itself for a high price. Once the buisness gets going, the price drops.

Though myself, even if the price dropped to $500. I would still prefer to just buy a $100 new pet myself.

If you really like your pet, why wouldn't you want to remember it as an individual? It's not like you're replacing your broken dishwasher.

It's entirely an emotional reason - this 'business' exists solely to take advantage of the fragile state people are in when their pet dies.
