Were I a wagering man I'd say the first attempt against him will be by a muslim who believes him to be an apostate. There's a growing opinion in the overseas muslim community that Obama is an apostate subject to the death penalty.
Obama's father, indisputably, was a muslim. Under islamic law that automatically makes Obama a muslim and Indonesian school records have Obama recognized as a muslim as a child. His apparent and subsequent conversion to Christianity then makes him an apostate muslim and more than a few
fundamentalist muslims are chattering about this. Not all muslims believe this and almost all shi'ites accept the koran where it says that there is to be no compulsion in religion. Thus a number of religious minorities are sort of tolerated in Iran.
Whether or not the man wins the Presidency his life will forever be at risk from those nutbars who believe they must not allow him to live as an apostate.
