I agree they should be upset, but to Blame the RCMP for being too slow to notify them is misdirected, Blame instant media, the media themselves only learned his identity from Facebook tributes. The RC's only had to deal with a knife weilding maniac, a body, the body's head and 36 terrified passengers. I guess someone in the department should've said, wait guys, let's hurry and notify next of kin before the media arrives. This is a non issue compared to the overall act and ensuing investigation, I blame the insensative media for not leaving the family alone in the first place. I have never been in a situation where I've had to be notified of a death in my family, but I can honestly say that I would have no desire to talk to a fucking reporter hours after it happened.

The news is actually not allowed to reviel names until the next of kin IS notified. Wich is why the police didnt mention names till today. Im just wondering how the journalist learned who it was and tracked down the family so fast
