There are plenty of teens out there who operate heavy machinery on a daily basis and do it without injury. This tragic accident could have happened to anyone of any age. They are still unsure of how it happened. Inexperience or not being attentive is what causes most injuries on the job. By the age of 15 I was operating farm machinery, laying rebar and roofing. At the age of 14 I was helping put up frames for sheds and assemble steel granaries....well actually I was the go-for for the guys who were doing the actual construction. It paid for my first snow mobile.
