WAY TO GO CANADA!!! F%$^&KING HARPER GOV'T.

We can't find the compassion to allow a Brazilian family to stay and live in Canada, someone who actually and been productive and created jobs.

WTF is wrong with Canadians.

Welcome to the immigration system. He filed his case 3 times. He got rejected 3 times. No reason in this article. When he was rejected, they had to give a reason. I don't understand how an illegal family can have a business?

He never should have violated his Work Permit. He should have gone the Provincial Nominee Program route while on WP.

If you let every illegal stay, let everybody who got rejected 3 times in, wth is the application system worth then?

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
This is a pretty big dick-move by Canada.

Why have immigration rules at all then?

Do you even know what "permanent residency" means? They don't have to be 'anything' in this country and they can do what they want with any privilege of a Canadian citizen short of voting. Big deal.

My best friend is going out with a person from the Netherlands who went to several universities in Canada, top grades but taking Canadian jobs because they are.....permanent residences who could care less about this country. They get all the privileges that I would get except...they can't vote...big fucking whoop. Feels great to be a Canadian sometimes eh?

...and your point?? Image

If they leave the country for more than 1 year they also lose that status.

wrong

you need to be in Canada 2 or 3 out of 5 years... I gotta look it up exactly, but one year is not correct.

Coming to Canada is NOT a right its a priviledge. Why do people think that just because they were able to slide in we have to keep them.. More should be sent packing for being here illegally. Its time to find the 40 odd thousand that they dont know are here illegally and ship them out.. then go after the hundred thousand they know about. If you want to immigrate to Canada there is a process so follow it and if you qualify welcome,, if not see ya.

Yeah, I am wrong on that one..

A permanent resident must live in Canada for two years out of every five or risk losing that status.

Regardless, it's just like holding a green card in the United States, you can't vote, but you have the rights as a citizen.

In Canada, I am not sure you can join the military unless you're a citizen. Maybe some military buff and enlighten us on that one.

Dont think you can join the military but you can have health care and welfare and demand your fucking rights and try and change the system and suck every dollar you can out of what ever government is stupid enough to give it to you.. there shouldnt be a permanent resident status. Immigrate do the time and become a citizen and if you arent willing to do that.. go home.
