I walk by that building a couple times a week. It's quite impressive, and always hoped they would refurb it.
Someone took a lot of time on carving the detail into the building, and it would have been a shame to tear it down.
I don't think tearing that monstrosity Annex is completely off the table Hurley. At least, that is the scuttlebutt I'm hearing. No one likes it, and it's just ugly and useless.
