Well maybe we should just keep our oil and send the US to talk to their buddy in Iran.

Maybe the environmentalists should be thankful that someone is finally cleaning up that big 'ol oil slick actross Alberta and Sask  Just think how all that oil in the ground is affecting ground-water quality!
***End of Sarcasm***

I'd much rather deal with the consequences of "dirty oil" from Canada than the consequences of giving the Arabs even more money to build their tall towers and bombs, thank-you-very-much!

Not to mention the economic consequences if the US were cut off from tar sands oil. That would mean a lot of hardship for alot of people--mostly the poor ones.

Oh you'd be surprised how far and fast and Abrams'll roll given the right incentive. Especially when said incentive has to do with being cut off from gas. Uncle Sam's an annoyingly possessive son of a bitch.

Yes we can sell the US oil or we can have them come up here and take it. Same with water. Where goods to not cross borders, amries will. That's the politics of raw power, my friend. I prefer selling it to them.

I suppose we could rig the Candus if worst came to worst. Wanna talk about dirty oil, that'd pretty much cover it.
