$1:
"I would be uncomfortable" seeing public displays of affection between lesbians or gay men, said Jim Ridneour, a 54-year-old taxi driver. "I don't think it's right seeing women kissing in public. If I had my family there, I'd have to explain what's going on."

You might have to *gasp* tell your kids that there are women out there who like other women and men who like other men? You might have to open your mind, and your kids minds to the possibility that there are people out there that are different from yourself? The fucking HORROR!

"This is one of the challenges of being gay. Everyday things can become sources of trauma."

Perhaps this gentleman should rephrase his statement to say:

what I see is two humans kissing .. why stigmatize it.. Canada has legalized same sex marriage. what is wrong with two people kissing.. if it was a man and woman were groping each other (which I have witnessed in public) nothing would be said.. time to get out of the Victorian era..

Lol funny video, guy see some two hot girls kissing and then sits down next to them and thinks "Hey, am I going to get a turn?".

Anyways, the parent that complained is both right and wrong. They were just kissing, nothing harmful but if they were doing more then, with kids present. That's different. However everybody parents there kids differently, and it's in there right if they want there kids exposed to something like that as kissing (Lesbian Kisses usually are more french kissed) is still deemed very sexual.

If I was there, she would just be a huge buzz kill but still. If they don't want there kids exposed to certon things, then that's there buisness. I don't think it had anything to do with them being both lesbians. This is why I hate our sensative world today. If somebody complained about a guy and a girl kissing. It's just them being good parents, however when its a gay couple. It's a hate crime against gays.

The whole point, if you'd read the article, is that they don't complain about a guy and a girl kissing.

I don't see anyone calling it a 'hate crime', either.

Don't believe everything you see in the pornos boy-o

Not very many parents object to their children seeing two people kiss. I know when I was a kid, I didn't really notice the difference between that and a kiss on the cheek, as in it simply being a way of one or two people showing love and affection for each other, there was nothing sexual or erotic about it to me.
