If so many people don't like to look at it, then why do so many people look like this?
(male and female...)

Don't lump all overweight people in the same boat. My wife has a syndrome called PCOS that affects a lot about her body and she has the more aggrivating varient of it that causes Insulin Resistance. Her body produces enough insulin, it doesn't use it properly. Instead of burning carbs for energy, it turns it straight to fat. The diet that she has to follow is tough because her body craves carbs. She can only eat 30g of carbs per 2 hr period and is supposed to eat 2g of protein with every 1g of carbs. Sounds easy until you read the nutritional labels. After she was diagnosed with this, I no longer assume anything about other people's weight issues. Yes, I'm sure a lot have only themselves to blame, but do not assume that all are.

Isn't that exactly my point here?
Why is everybody able to have an opinion on others, but when it comes close to home, there is always an excuse? (no offence)
Why can an overweight person say about another overweight person he/she looks like crap but won't do anything about him/herself? And when you say something about their weight, you get mouthed off. It is just hypocrite.
No, I am not overweight, but still, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder...
