How magnanimous of you to post this, mtbr. Or are you a closet Oilers fan? =]

I hope we don't see any misguided retaliation tonight. What is it about sport that makes people do such stupid things?

The problem is with the "band wagon jumpers"(most Calgarians) they probably decided to beat this guy as they were jumping off the wagon.

GO OILERS GO

Hmmm, this outcome looks like a lost European soccer-game, but then small...

I am glad that the city is not ruined too :?

Severe punishment is at its place, before it all goes too far...

$1:
Those in the car -- all wearing Flames sweaters -- were glaring at him, said Parker, and he answered their icy stares.
"I said 'how about those Flames' and that's all I said," recalled Parker, 22.
He said two of the Flames fans then jumped out of the car and attacked him.

Well that was intelligent. Antangonize a group of guys whose team was just beaten by your team. What a moron.

I'm guessing you would blame the Sens fan this for incident a couple years ago?

Sorry, but most SANE people would just have a shouting match or rub it in - it's called sportsmanship. People who beat up people at sporting events because of a look or a Leafs suck shout are just plain idiots. There is no excuse for that

Some people are the worse losers though. I was at the Sens-Leafs game on March 22nd. The row behind us were all Leafs fans, but they were HILARIOUS! When the Leafs had their first shot on net, they actually stood up and were applauding like it was a goal!!

Anyway, the Leafs came back and won the game. Many Sens fans were leaving (as they always do anyway, so as not to get stuck in traffic  ) and the Leafs fans were commenting on that, which I thought was hilarious. Well this woman took it personal and called him an asshole - she was PISSED, and she gave them the finger. What a sore loser (but then she had a 80s haircut - think mullet - and wearing a Nascar/motor oil leather jacket ;) )

This has happened before (in both cities) and will happen again sadly. The problem here was probably too much alcohol and testoserone.

Just charge the mental midgets who did it and let's get on with hockey. I'm rooting for both to get in the playoffs!

Good thing it wasn't an Habs fan wearing a jersey in Hogtown... :-)

Reminds me of one of those famed NY subway series when some Rangers fans attacked an ambulance carrying the Islanders Pat Lafontaine...
