This is all assuming that the brothers are telling the truth.

I say this because Mark Geragos is not an accident-injury attorney, but a criminal defense attorney. It sounds more to me that we have a case of a criminal defense attorney trying to make a case for cutting a deal to help his clients avoid prosection for some misdeed. Considering that these 'innocent victims' still have yet to make a statement to the police and that they've sought out a criminal defense attorney in the absence of any charges makes pretty much anything they have to say come off as suspect.

Geragos has never taken on a sizable civil lawsuit before. I doubt this is any different. He has two clients who came to him for defense from potential prosecution and he's playing an angle. That's all.
