Ban Ki Moon is merely being pragmatic.

This GW boondoogles purpose was to allow the eurocrats to gain control of the UN and the global economy.

If it succeeeds fine but if it fails the UN is living on borrowed time.

Ban is just trying to preserve the Un because he sees the GW boondoogle failing miserably.

He is just the first rat to jump ship before it sinks.
