The problem is, that non-muslims are not allowed to wear caps, but muslim girls are the rule to the exception. Again. A hijab is NOT part of the dresscode in Islam, so what is their point for wearing it when it is not part of a uniform?

So? Muslims can CHOOSE to wear the Hijab, it is not mandatory. They can CHOOSE to not wear them, and they CANNOT wear them in public buildings in countries like Turkey.

You know, if they say: It is my religion to wear it, and I have to cover myself for any other man then my husband, my answer is: Why are you wearing make-up then? That is not allowed when you wear a Hijab.

Because the only valid reason to say that a piece of clothing that is not part of the uniform cannot be worn is safety. If there's no safetly risk, there's no problem.

Because it's not the place of FIFA or any other soccer organization to rule on observance of religious custom. It's not your place either.

Because we have freedom in this country to worship in the manner of one's own choosing. This is her chosen manner. It is nobody's place to say she must worship in some other way.

No, you don't get it. FIFA hands down a listing of all the pieces of mandatory equipment - the uniform. Other pieces of equipment, non-mandatory pieces of equipment, must not pose a safety risk to the player wearing it, or any other player, and should not cause confusion on the field as to the player's position. My wife has long hair and plays keeper, and wears a bandana on her head sometimes to keep her hair under control. This is allowed. A Hijab is little different, the only real different being the reasons for wearing it. But unless it's a safety risk, or leads to confusion as to which team she's on, there's no reason to ban it except intolerance.

No, you can express your opinion, but if you were to become a ref, and had a girl at a game who was wearing a Hijab, your opinions would not count. The only thing that would count is does the Hijab violate the laws of the game. Tied behind the neck, it does not.
