This could turn out to be bad news for both the major parties, as the conservatives are so tied to lyn' brian. Then to find out this guy is so low he even donated to the liberals. This story could expose how these two parties as the same thing with opposing rhetoric

The evolution of RRs argument:

First Mulroney - Schreiber thread:

"Its old news. Nobody cares. The Libs are desperate"

RR digs up a loose Liberal connection.

"Oh look. The Libs are corrupt because they dealt with him"

Connection proves fruitless.

"The Libs are just desperate"

Public interest persists and the investigation heats up.

"Schreibers a liar anyway so we can't trust anything he says"

Schreiber donations revealed.

"See, he donated once to the Liberals. That proves they are corrupt".

Of course the fact that he donated once in '93 in order to garner the same sort of shady deals from Chretien but was soundly rebuked and didn't try again is lost on him.

Funny how any Liberal connection to a crooked person reflected on the Liberals but the same standard doesn't apply when its the Cons.

Karlheinz Schreiber is in the spotlight for money he gave former Tory prime minister Brian Mulroney, but when it comes to contributions to political parties, he appears to have given significantly more to the Liberal Party of Canada.

So what? It looks like he gave to both parties and onkly the Libs once and no more despite being head of a bunch of companies that could have benefitted.

He isn't being investigated for political donations though.
