I'm not sure how this is viewed as Dion's doings. These folks left because they saw that they have no chance of regaining any power, competing with the CPC, so they went with the next choice, the Grits. It's more that these folks are hungry for power, not ideologically driven. In that respect, they found the perfect home.

this fringe party had zero chance of winning any seats anyways , so in the end there little protest party has gone nowhere .

and as for dion's party these extra few votes are of little help and i doubt any of them will ever get to become liberal candiates anyways
