It's freezing early because of global warming.

That's an early freeze for Hay River NWT? [huh] I've experianced full-blown (here to stay till spring) winter as early as late October and that was as far south as Saskatoon. Have people forgot that winter occassionally does what it wants in Canada? [cold]

Winter can't do what it wants anymore since there's a consensus that global warming is driving the climate now.

You'd better be careful what you wish for vis-à-vis a tinfoil hat medal. Many more posts like that one and I'll be nominating you for it!

Save that tinfoil nomination for anyone who thinks that a hot summer is caused by global warming. I'm just pointing out the absurdity of the AGW proponents. See, if AGW really is as pervasive as they say it is then it MUST be causing every significant weather and climate event. That means that an early frost is caused by global warming just the same as a hurricane is.

No, you're not pointing out any absurdity, you're just being absurd.

If global warming is the driving force in the climate then it *must* be the driving force behind any cooling the same as it is behind warming.

Or else it's a bunch of crap.

Bart, Global Warming is very REAL. The cause of it is what is being debated (Co2 Emissions and all the other theories out there).

Everything is off balance. As such, mother nature isnt so predictable.

So AGW causes cooling, too, right?

Zipperfish could possibly explain this in mystical magical molecule terms but currently global warming isn't effecting weather because currently it does exist outside of computer climate models.

I recall many Halloweens had snow that stayed. Last year thanksgiving produced a snow storm here in balmy Southwestern Ontario.

However any change warmer is cited as proof by the wingnuts and any change colder is merely an anomaly.

I have noticed that no-one has disputed my reference to oct 30, 1938. HEE HEE.

Global warming doesn't exist. That should mean it is warmer everywhere, and that is just not the case. Winters are getting colder, and summers warmer. More storms, and heavier storms. More rain in the deserts of Africa, which cools it there.

So Climate Change might exist, but that is definitely not the same.

Nature takes it course, and addepts to what's coming to her. She always did, she always will. Nothing man can do about it. The little bit of polution we as humans produce, is nothing compared to what nature produces itself. This has been happening over millions of years.

Oh well, another global warming - Gore loving thread. What else is new?

With the current science---not dogma or science fiction it is patently obvious that anyone who thinks that GW even exists, is tinfoil-hater for sure for sure.

The parrellel to Oct 30, 1938 becomes more and more valid.

Did you hear about that study the two global warming guys did where they now say it's going to get cooler for the next 2 years, but after that there's a 50/50 chance it's going to warm to 1998 levels. In other words it will get warmer, or it won't, but it's still Anthropogenic Global Warming. Talk about hedging your bets.
