I�ve been aboard that airplane many many times what a heartbreak, exceeded only by the loss of all those lives.

My dad is a retired FE who worked on engines and aircraft for many years. He believed the problem was contaminated fuel, he had that happen to him in a DC 7, fortunately they were able to get on the ground okay.
