https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/b-c-woman ... -1.4402828

"LANGFORD, B.C. -- The RCMP are reminding the public not to engage in road rage after a woman allegedly pulled out a machete during a dispute over a parking spot in Langford, B.C.

The Mounties say they received a report from a woman on Sunday afternoon who said she was trying to park at Costco when another woman cut her off and "abruptly" took the parking stall.

When the two women got in an argument over the spot, the one who parked allegedly reached into her vehicle, pulled out a machete, and held it in a threatening way..."

What the article doesn't tell you is once the fight was over and everyone was out of the parking lot security moved their vehicle there. Prime spots always go to security supervisors 8)

OMG stole her parking spot! She had to turn her steering wheel and sit on her ass while driving 100 ft to the next one. How awful.
Death!
Death is too good I tell you!

I took a jungle safari tour in the Dominican Republic. Part of the trip was to a sugar plantation. The workers were using machetes to cut the sugar cane. I remember the tour director saying: "Do not be alarmed if you see a man carrying a machete as it required for his work. If you see a woman carrying a machete.......RUN!!!".

Of course this happened in Canada where we settle our disputes with blunt or bladed instruments......baseball bats, golf clubs, knives and machetes. If it happened anywhere south of the 49th it would more than likely have involved the American weapon of choice......some kind of firearm, whether a handgun or rifle.

You almost forgot vehicles driven by teenagers from Surrey. ROTFL

But back to the topic at hand. You can build all the Costco's and Bear Mountains you want but Dog patch is still Dog Patch.

Way to go Langford you finally did it. Embarassed all of Canada [cheer]

Funny thing about road rage, they're getting all riled up about sitting on their ass ten seconds longer.
Lady down the street pounded on my door in a purple faced rage because my dog was sitting in the street and wouldn't move. At the end of my driveway maybe a foot onto the road - which is a suburban cul de sac...
So I tried to placate her. "Your fucking steering wheel broken?"
She went purple, actually frothing at the mouth. Said she shouldn't have to look out for dogs and cats, pet owners are required to!
SO I attempted to calm her down with "Well if you don't think you should HAVE TO look out for things in the road you won't look out for kids either so you shouldn't be behind the wheel at all."
Oooh did she get mad. Thought she was gonna punch me! But she just stormed off to city hall to file a complaint.
I know, cuz they phoned and told me the bitch down the street is griping about my chihuahua again.

Funny thing is she's a cancer survivor. After going thru a life altering thing, you would figure they'd let go the small stuff

I haven't shopped at Costco for years now but I'm obviously not missing out on much as it seems too stressful just to park!
