Michael C. Carr, Jackson County State"s Attorney, announced today that Justin Bagley, 32, was sentenced to serve three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, which will be followed by four years of Mandatory Supervised Release, after admitting that he had violated a term of his probation sentence previously imposed by the court on the charge of Domestic Battery, a Class 4 Felony.

The original charge of Domestic Battery resulted from an incident that occurred on July 2, 2013, when an Elkville Police Officer responded to an Elkville residence after a 911 call was made. The victim reported that her boyfriend, Justin Bagley had struck her in the face. This charge was elevated to a Class 4 Felony due to the defendant having a prior domestic battery conviction. On September 16, 2014, the defendant plead guilty to the charge of domestic battery and the case was set for a contested sentencing hearing on November 12, 2014. At the sentencing hearing, the judge ordered that the defendant serve a period of 30 months" probation, with certain terms and conditions to apply.

There's grounds to extradite him to Canada if you folks so see fit to ask.
