That wasn't some witty pun (although I am usually known for that, so I get the fact my comment was misconstrued) I'm truly not shocked that these women are treated worse than garbage; it speaks volumes about the character of the Saudi People.

I have a palpable disdain for any nation that treats people like garbage.

It also speaks volumes about our so called allies that NONE have the balls to stand up to the Saudis. I guess they're too afraid of getting their oil cut off.

Trouble is that nobody except for women and foreigners in Saudi Arabia wants to change their current system. You might get rid of the House of Saud but the vacuum would be filled almost immediately by another despot likely as bad if not worse.

The only thing we can hope for is that the Saudi's and the Iranians run out of proxies in Yemen and start actually killing each other off. That way we could sell the Saudi's weapons with a clear conscience because it would be hurrying their demise.

We gave them our word, and our word has to mean something. We also signed the contract knowing their record and who they were. Too late to be disgusted now.
