Well, considering that fentanyl is killing people on a daily basis both in the USA and Canada I guess this shouldn't come as a surprise that they decided to use it this way.

Hate to look for a good side in this particular process but if it results in a "clean" execution, that just wasn't happening with the previous lethal-injection mix of drugs, then that is a positive. This is no comment from me on the justification of executing someone but just a statement that if they've found a formula that doesn't cause chemical torture during death for the convict then it removes a lot of the controversy of cruel and unusual. Do it fast and as painless as possible in order not to give any thrills to the sadists out there who have attached themselves to law-and-order to satisfy their disgusting fetish or rage.

I've often wondered why executions can't be done with the same drugs as assisted suicides.

The pharma and chemical companies, especially the European ones where the death penalty has long been abolished, don't want to be associated with executions where their products are used to deal the final death blow. I understand their perspective but I'm not sure that they have any legal standing as to what a customer does with their product after purchase if they use it in a legal manner according to their own jurisdictional laws.

Um..Where is the outrage from the Canadian SJW Trudeau and his "peoplekinds" to stand up for this executed inmate right to live and their principles, to immediately demand through their new-found favorite medium twitter, the abolishment of the death penalty in the US as it undermines fundamental human right to life and dignity, while at it, demand for the release of some inmates. However, apparently it seems a-kay for them, after all, human rights discourse is only convenient when addressing the non-Western world to justify imperialistic motives to culturally, economically and politically subjugate them for the imposition of western values, culture and liberal order.

Well aside from the moronic SJW comment I tend to agree. The guy committed the crime FORTY FUCKING YEARS AGO.
Imprisoning some one for forty years and then executing them is as fucking barbaric as cutting off their head and then crucifying them. But talking to Americans about guns and X-uh-cyooshuns is a proven waste of time. These people celebrate executing retarded kids, our gov't just hoped the Saudis might be more civilized and listen.

Horten, Norway.

Must really suck trying to troll on the internet when your ISP lists your name and address in the DNS records.
