I just got back from pressing our Green Lake cabin for sale, here's a bleak picture of nearby Pressy Lake where several homes and cabins were lost. This was one arm of that Elephant Hill fire, petered out about half a mile from our cabin.
Stopped and chatted at a mushroom camp, they've had a field day this summer.

Jeez, and I get home and pass another burning at Vanderhoof.... exactly same spot as last year's fire here.

Kind of expected this a month ago. May it be a short fire season for all of you.
