Of course BLM will ignore the fact the "good citizen" used his car to hit a police vehicle (a cop's bike) and whine about how oppressed by the police Black people are in Canada.

Virtue Signalling. Now we wait to see whether the PM makes a statement that further undermines the judiciary.

$1:
An officer on bicycle patrol stopped his bicycle in front of the car near Drummond St. and the driver was asked for his licence: He refused to produce it and continued to advance his car, hitting the bicycle.

Classic example of a severe case of the Dindu Nuffins. The truth won't be enough to quell the riots though when the "community" stands up for justice...…

Good, the cops will have another excuse to bash more heads.
They will enjoy it.

No, given the way things go in Quebec I imagine the cops will be told to stand down, let the burning and looting merrily occur, then all report for some sort of cultural sensitivity program to "re-educate" them on why some communities just can't help themselves from behaving that way. Remember, certain skin colours guarantee never having to be responsible for any of your own actions ever.

You've never lived Montreal, I can tell.
You also never rode a Harley in Montreal in the 90's, in the middle of
the famed Biker Wars.
Nor were you on St. Catherine in '93.

Cops there are a special bunch. Really 'special'.

Now you may be fully right when you say the politicians might get all crazy
over some hand wringing and some 'oh me, oh my', with regards to certain demographic issues,
but I very much doubt things in the stations have changed that much.

We'll see.
I would say the dindu was lucky to not get shot in the face.

Hmm, maybe the cops are going soft.

For a while, it was hard to know who was worse; the Mob or the SDQ.

OK I will play the devil's advocate since no one else will. I cannot get the video attached with the link to work so I will attach what I could find.

The police "claim" that this man hit one of the bike officers with his car. That would be attempted murder, vehicular assault, assault on a police officer, all felonies. Why was this man not charged with any of these crimes? When you hit an officer with a motor vehicle, you do not get released from jail a few hours later. You stay in the pokey over the weekend (getting your ass beat) until you see a judge on Monday. Than you get hit with a bail so high that 99% of us could never make. In the real world when you hit a cop with your motor vehicle, the cops instantly start shooting you, or start beating you within an inch of your life with batons, fists, and boots. I see no bike cop in front of the vehicle in this video. The cops would not be standing around speaking with the man had he actually hit a cop with his car, he would be on his way to the hospital or morgue. If the cops had any body cam footage showing this man hitting an officer with his car, we would be seeing this footage by now. I call major bullshit!!! This guy did not hit anyone with his car. A civilian was filming the incident and the cops know they were busted, so they want to cover their asses with some made up bullshit.

Why are the cops pepper spraying the person who is videoing the incident? If they are in the right, than why are they disrupting someone who lawfully filming them? What do they have to hide? Why is no one on this forum (other than me) upset that the cops are pepper spraying someone who is breaking no laws, committing no violence, and lawfully filming the police?
