Odds are this is going to turn into one of those nightmare stories that helps derail the TFW program again. These asshole employers that sponsor TFW's are supposed to provide them with some sort of proper accommodation in an apartment or house, not make them live in the basement at work, most likely with the doors locked and alarmed (or even chained up) so they can't even go out for a walk and some fresh air.

Canada will have it's own Triangle Shirt Factory disaster one day, guaranteed, and it'll most likely involve TFW's that are being treated like slaves. Human nature being what it is, especially greed, it's fucking inevitable.

"An unidentified employee told Global News there was a room in the basement with mattresses, but no one was actually living there. It was described more as a staff room.

AHS ordered the owner of the Burger King to remove mattresses and �associated furnishings� from the building, as well as no longer allow people to live or sleep in the restaurant. That cleanup was to be done by Wednesday."
