The rate of trees being cut down by developers is creating a Ft Mac Wildfire scenario waiting to happen.

My guess is that the view was impeded by these Norway Maples and the developer felt it impeded the value of his property. So it was "fuck the District" I'll pay the fine and take the trees out and still have my view because the increased value will more than offset any fines.
If I was the district I'd pull any other requests for permits he has in the works because quite obviously he doesn't think that common property or rules apply to him and if they allow them to proceed there'll just be more of this clowns assholery.

Nice thing about living upcountry rural. Trees were blocking my satellite dish so I cut a bunch down. And got paid $15,000 from the sawmill for them!
