What a complete moron, I hope they nail his ass to the wall.....HARD!! I had passed through this intersection just a hour prior to this incident and the traffic was horrendous, just the usual situation for the summer roadwork season.....

The cops won't ID the driver so I'm going to fathom a guess that the driver is Muslim, Chinese, Russian, or Indian since those folks drive like that in their home countries.

I just can't imagine an actual Canadian doing something like this and then not stopping to apologize.

This happened on the New Westminster-Burnaby border which is just a short distance from Richmond, so I'll have to agree, the driver was more than likely Chinese.....

Sometimes the authorities just don't provide get the name of the perp for any number of reasons, especially when children or mental health are involved. Why not give your paranoid race-baiting a rest.

I was glad to see that the flaggers were not seriously injured, as in on life support, dead or what ever. Very lucky of the first flagger not to have been more grievously harmed.

Driver needs to do some time in jail but seems via the article that a mentally incompetent defense is in the works and somehow the system will be blamed for this event.

It's a very dangerous job that flaggers have. They take a lot of crap from people that are impatient with the process that is necessary for the safety of everyone trying to navigate through an area where any type of road work or construction is involved. Fortunately, it seems that though she has some serious injuries, she is expected to recover.

In Vancouver and the Lower Mainland DWI (Driving While Immigrant) is responsible for more altercations with road construction flaggers because the road construction signs are in English.

The problem with your statement here is that a liberal/left judge will absolutely take into consideration someone's background when it comes time for sentencing and they'll be lenient if it means making a higher priority of diversity and multiculturalism than actual justice.

And you know it's true.
