Malloch is flat out telling the EU that he sees his job as one of putting an end to the ascendancy of the EU as a nation. I agree with that position.
The EU would necessarily end the national, cultural, and ethnic identities of the people subjugated to it and I personally think the world is a better place with the continued existence of the various European cultures as distinct identities. Homogenizing them all into a flavorless, gray, socialist superstate offends me to the core.
