I honestly don't think that the Natives or apparently some Liberals understand that the "aid to civilian power" act isn't a blanket act that allows Provinces, Cities, municipalities or in this case bands to use the military to enforce their own agenda and they'll also likely get a big shock when they discover that "they" have no control over how the military carry's out this aid when called out. So, they may come to rue the day they tried to do an end run on the Federal Gov't and use it for personal gain. They also might be pretty upset to find out that the jurisdictions that call the military out have to pay for their involvement, a bill which I'm pretty sure they'll try and foist off on the Canadian Taxpayers and a bill which will be outrageously expensive if the military has to attend some of these backwater out of touch with society reserves.
I'd be more supportive if the natives were going to use the act for something good like stopping the crime and lawlessness or the ethnic cleansing on their reserves, preventing the rise of the "warrior societies" or to help stop their smuggling operations and illegal occupation of non native land. Hell I'd even support it if it was to help out in real emergencies like disasters but, since they'll probably try and use it to bully their opponents all I can say is if the Liberals go through with this then they're ever dumber than I thought.
