But basically, and seeing as you mention it, no not all Muslims are bad people. Some are bad Muslims but good people. They don't follow the Islamic manuals. Either through laziness or a preference to rational thinking, but either way neglecting the rules of the texts allows them to be 'just regular blokes.'

As far as Islam itself goes though, yes, it is the most pernicious or outright damaging of all major religions. To the west it is an enemy ideology right up there with Communism and Nazism.
