Here's the thing from my unscholarly personal observations:

1. Black men are more likely to sexually assault a woman and then let her go.

2. But when it's the really scary shit of abducting and then repeatedly raping a woman/girl over the course of years or if it involves carefully grooming an underage victim and then repeatedly victimizing said victim then that requires a white guy. White rapists are also many more times more likely to murder their victims.

3. Overall, black men still commit a disproportional number of sexual assaults and mostly against black women.

No idea why this is the way it is yet that's the way I see it.
