To me she looks like she was picked because of what is, or more accurately isn't, between her legs.

You would think she would be eager to spill on this deal, since it was made by the Cons and the Libs have said they want to tighten up enforcement by the CRA. But nooooooo. Just like the Saudi arms deal, it seems there are people behind the scenes controlling things. The same people.

Yea, I'm calling bullshit on that one too. Jurisdictions like The Cook Islands are so removed from any other economic markets like manufacturing that they have no need to worry about trade embargoes because they choose to make themselves into a place where avoiding the taxes of your home country appeal to the greed in us.
