Five and nine day suspensions. Seems about rght for fathering children in a community you are supposed to be helping. There were three in total who engaged in this, only one of these officers is paying child support.

Wow, that's a little harsh don't you think? TO even suggest that is a bit much.

Accountability for how they carry themselves and how they deal with their actions after the fact is the point. Especially when they expect certain characteristics from the populations they protect.

Seems to be the norm in Canadian policing and it's impacting our economy and future. The number of scandals and poor judgement being exposed by the police across the country when we have such a small population is astounding.

No it is not harsh. As they had been deployed on a UN Mission at the behest of the Canadian Government they would have been briefed fully on the issue in Haiti. Having unprotected sex with a local is not much different then playing Russian roulette. You know the rules and refuse to refrain you deal with the consequences.
