Was he abducted? Or... as so many toddlers do (including mine...), was he exploring the world and slipped out of his parents sight for 2 seconds?

I can't imagine how they must feel...

When my youngest was 2.5, she 'took a walk around the block'. Like we did every day. She just forgot that I wasn't with her. Thank god we found her within 5 minutes but it was the longest 5 minutes of my life.

I am so sorry for their loss. Rest in peace, little one

He's been missing since Tuesday. They had snow the other day and the temperatures dropped below freezing. There are a few creeks in the area and the RCMP diving recovery team was brought in. His body was recovered in the area is all that has been released so far.

Heart-wrenching at any time but even more so during a family holiday.
