There are bad apples in all organizations. It doesn't matter if you put on a uniform or not, my only concern, because they are in a position of authority, the average Jo could get really screwed over in this process.

It's different if there are crooks, thieves, bullies in a company that cannot detain, arrest, beat up, criminally charge other employees or workers. Which makes these cases so much more disturbing given semi-equal footing in society.

The stead fast and generally unrelenting code among police to not charge or rat on other police is more entrenched than it ever has been.

"Blue Privilege" is what it's being called these days when cops don't have to answer even for the most egregious offenses.
