If anyone has any illusions about military service they should just take a look at the Veterans who are now not being taken care of by the Gov't to understand that it's not a contract for life but a Government "what can you do for me now" contract which, at the end means they'll do whatever they can to get out of any social or moral obligations they think they might have.

So, for these 2500 homeless vets and the thousands of others who can't get the support they need it'll just be business as usual despite all the promises.
