Not a good idea. This is one area where I was fully in agreement with the Cons.

Not being accountable is not a good start.

$1:
Bennett said these "initial steps" will lead the way to discussions on transparency and accountability

She's such an idiot.

Discussions? Be transparent how you spend our money. What's to discuss?

Just more Liberal ass-kissing. We'll be in the same position when the next election rolls around.

Wonder when they inevitable official apology session, along with it's pre-requisite massive CBC coverage, for Thief Spence for how poorly we treated her has been scheduled for.

I suppose that these reservations will be necessary for a while but, eventually, the First Nations people will need to be assimilated.

Our culture is superior to their culture. These isolated communities cannot last forever.

Keep propping up the Bannock Republics. No transparency and no accountability means those who need those funds the most get screwed over yet again, while the chiefs are living it large. I guess PM idJT doesn't figure there are any selfie opportunities.

$1:
"We will work in full partnership with First Nations leadership and organizations on the way forward to improve accountability and transparency," she said in the statement. "This can not be achieved without the engagement of First Nations and its members."

ROTFL ROTFL ROTFL

So, giving them even more money and stopping what little accountability that's already in place is going to fix the problem. Yet once again there's zero mention of the people who are paying the freight getting fair value for their money.

Unbelievable.

By the time PM Fucknuts is done we're going to look back on PM Smugbastard's tenure as a time of good government.

There'll always be that re-writing of history to suit the Only Real Canadians (i.e. left liberals). Harper effectively legalized gay marriage by doing nothing to oppose it, stopped his own loonie backbenchers from interfering with abortion rights, apologized for the residential schools, gave billions more to the Natives, and whole bunch of other shit that no real social conservative would have allowed. Yet because he didn't roll out the red carpet and get down on his knees in front of the grifters like Thief Spence he'll still be regarded as the worst racist demon that even afflicted cuddly and easily-upset Canada.
