Damn, I've seen coyotes near there, this is part of the old BC Pen. site with no corridors to any kind of wildlife area, aside from the shoreline of the Fraser river, which basically would lead nowhere. Too damn close to home.....

It turns out they shot the cougar no more than 100 yards from here, just 3 blocks over. It was a definite shame they couldn't tranquilize and move it but.....no word yet on if it was old, sick or whatever....
