This is a direct result of the poor socio economic environment found amongst black US prison guards that puts them at a disadvantage when compared to white prison guards in those more upscale, better funded, suburban, gated prisons.

Had these two poor prison guards not suffered from discrimination by being forced to guard black inmates, been obliged to work in the same facilities for equal pay as white prison guards and been subjected to brutality by being forced to punch a clock, none of this would have happened.

Face it. These two are just bad fucking people and no amount of excuses based on race, social status, employment, opportunity or background can justify their actions.

They should be severely punished for breaking the trust put in them and locked up for an extremely time long with those very same people they were once paid to keep us safe from.


But, given the politically correct social climate directed towards their race in America today excuses will be made and they'll get a minimum punishment because after all. Everybody else in Baltimore was doing it so, it shouldn't be a big deal, should it?

Funny. Seems to me you're the one making an issue of their race. They committed a crime, should be prosecuted like anyone else, and will be. If they're not, feel free to rave on then, how about that?

In case you hadn't noticed, pretty much everything in the states is now about race. The riots, looting and lawlessness didn't just happen by chance, they've been caused by racial tensions.

Everytime you turn on the TV all you hear is that black people are being targeted by the police, black people are being shot, black people aren't being treated fairly, black people are being stereotyped yet, when two of them go off the reservation people are supposed to suddenly become colour blind and ignore the fact that of all the people rioting, looting and causing general mayhem these two black women should have been the last ones to willingly participate/

As for me being an idiot well, that's a matter of opinion and since yours doesn't count I'll carry on believing until proven otherwise, that these two women won't be given a sentence commiserate to the crime committed and their position in the community.

Although I may have spoken to soon about these two women being cut some slack because of race since the state prosecutor doesn't seem to have any issues charging law enforcement personnel and has even been accused of over charging the 6 police officers (3 black, 3 white, one woman) involved. But of course as an unbiased official, she's only doing her job.

The US seems to have a problem with criminals in the corrections service. It's not a race thing but they do seem to recruit from the bottom of the labour market, hiring law enforcement rejects and people who are criminals in every way except on their permanent record. The inmate "human cockfighting" ring that California guards were running in multiple prisons is one example, and IIRC most of those guards were white.

We're talking about two specific black women here, in a specific city, in a specific state not an entire country. But your claim that blacks are prosecuted more and receive harsher sentences is true but, only because they like I said in a previous post, precipitate a larger number of crimes.
