Anything Military Doctors prescribe but don't wait for another "Mountie on Marijuana" type incident because I'm pretty sure Marijuana won't be one of them since, if you have a condition that requires that specific prescription, you won't be in the military long enough to enjoy it.

So various pains, anxiety or whatever people take pot for, having that condition would get you discharged? What about opioids? Anxiolytics? those have far worse side effects than pot, including impairment. SSRI's? Are those OK? Seems to me there are all sorts of mind-altering prescription drugs that people take for various conditions - all of them would get you discharged, or just pot? (Which is fare more benign than these other drugs)

Nope anything that impairs your ability to function and carry out the basic standard for military fitness {which includes mental acumen} will get you shit caned. They'll give you pain killers or whatever else you need but, it's got to be short term and when that happens they make you unfit which means for that period of time you're out of trade and are basically are just a warm body.

For anything that requires long term mind altering or physically impairing meds, then you're going to get eventually discharged as medically unfit.
